Fuel oil also known as heavy oil is produced from the burnable liquids derived from crude oil. It is any liquid fuel that is burned in a furnace or boiler for the generation of heat or used in an engine for the generation of power. Examples include kerosene, home heating oil, diesel fuel or coal oil. Fuel oil is used in boilers and furnaces, fuel trucks, chips some cars and power generating sets.

Naphtha is the immediate hydrocarbon liquid steam derived from crude distillation. It is used as an aid in crude refinement and distillation into more efficient products. Naphtha is primarily in production of fuels. It secondary use includes production of petrochemicals and as a solvent for various organic substances, paint, cigarettes lighters, cleaning fluid.

Bitumen also known as Asphalt is a black sticky mixture of hydrocarbons obtained naturally or as a residue from petroleum distillation. The product is primarily used by the construction industries in road construction.

Gasoline, or petrol is a clear petroleum-derived flammable liquid that is used primarily as a fuel in most spark-ignited internal combustion engines. Each juridiscition has clear specifications on the quality of gasoline used in its region, particularly on sulphur content, octane rating and additives composition.

Gasoil or diesel s a specific fractional distillate of fuel oil specifically designed for use in diesel engines, whose fuel ignition takes place, without any spark, as a result of compression of the inlet air mixture and then injection of fuel. As with Gasoline, its specifications are standardized across regions.
